Supporting high resolutions of 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p along with 7.1 Digital Surround Sound Audio, these devices transmit the signals without any loss of picture clarity and no ghosting of images. Since HDMI cables are used for securing connections, it is a truly digital medium which allows transfer of both audio as well as video signals simultaneously. It also avoids the clutter associated with multiple audio and video cables thereby saving space. Available in 4x2, 4x4 and 8x8 configurations, this HDMI Matrix switchis available as a desktop or rack mountable unit.
Compatible with HD-DVD players, TiVo systems, HDMI PCs, and satellite set top boxes that connect to an HDMI display, this piece of hardware eliminates the inconvenience of disconnecting and reconnecting of different sources with this all in one device. Switching between sources can be done using front panel manual control buttons, RS232, Infra red remote control, or TCP/IP. LEDs on the front indicate the status of the source which has been selected. This device is certified as being fully HDMI and HDCP compliant, with RoHS, CE, and FCC certifications.

The HDMI Matrix router switch is light weight, works on plug and play functionality, consumes less power and is easy to install either as a desktop device or a rack mounted one. One of the key features of this switcher is the ability to overlook the input sources which are not in use. These routers are equipped with a built in repeater/equalizer chipset which can boost digital HD signal length. Video amplifier bandwidth up to 2.25Gbps/225MHz is supported by these devices wherein the video input and output types are standard HDMI ports. Backward compatible with DVI-D, they follow a standard of extremely high speed digital transmission.
